Martin & Jones is proud to announce that four of our attorneys have been named to the 2010 edition of "The Best Lawyers in America." Additionally, the firm has received the number one ranking for Raleigh in this year's edition for Product Liability Litigation and tied for the number one ranking firm in Raleigh for Mass Tort Litigation.

John Alan Jones, Spencer Parris, Hoyt Tessener and Forest Horne have once again been selected by their peers as Best Lawyers in America. John Alan is recognized for his expertise on behalf of victims of medical malpractice, an area in which he pursues birth trauma and brain injury cases and also in Product Liability Litigation, an area in which he has helped workers exposed to cancer causing chemicals and metal sprays.  John Alan has also successfully served as lead counsel in consumer class actions against some of the nation's largest corporations. Spencer's expertise is in Mass Tort Litigation, primarily obtaining compensation for victims of asbestos cancers, including mesothelioma. Hoyt's expertise was again recognized because of his work on behalf of people who have suffered a serious personal injury or were injured or killed by a defective product. Forest was again recognized in Mass Tort Litigation, primarily for pursuing asbestos disease cases on behalf of railroad workers with FELA claims and Product Liability Litigation on behalf of consumers who suffered injuries or died after taking defective prescription drugs.

First published in 1983, Best Lawyers selects its members based on an annual peer-review survey of leading attorneys in the same or related areas of law. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be included, and for this reason inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
