Clinton W. Sitton
An Atlanta native, Clint received his undergraduate and law degrees
from Emory University. Upon graduating from law school, he accepted an
eighteen-month appointment as law clerk to the Honorable John J. Bruner
of the State Court of Fulton County in Atlanta, Georgia. As a result
of his experiences as law clerk in being able to observe and work with
some of the best trial lawyers in the state, Clint came to understand
that it was the individuals of our society that were in the most need
of strong and zealous representation.
At the end of his
clerkship in 1984, Clint joined the Savannah firm of Middleton and
Anderson, one of the cutting edge law firms in Georgia, in the
representation of individuals injured as a result of exposure to toxic
substances. Throughout his tenure with that firm, first in Savannah
and later as partner in charge of their Atlanta office, Clint focused
on a wide variety of personal injury matters, including toxic
exposures, automobile and aviation accidents, and medical malpractice.
In
1992, Clint opened his own law offices in Atlanta, and in addition to
his previous areas of interest, expanded his practice to include
consumer class actions and the representation of individuals injured as
the result of legal malpractice.
Throughout his career, Clint
has acted as lead counsel in all state and federal courts of Georgia
and has appeared before the Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of
Georgia and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in appellate argument.
He has also been active in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association
serving as Law Pac Chairman, State Bar Liaison and member of the
Long-Range Planning and Publications Committees. In 2002, Clint became
a member in the Atlanta office of Martin & Jones.
