Dell Company Settles Lawsuit On Overtime Pay
In this suit, two former employees David Norman and Walter Romas filed suit in U.S. District Court in February 2007.
According to the plaintiffs, employees were required to attend daily meetings that lasted 20 to 30 minutes but were not paid for that time. Additionally, they performed and pre- and post-shift activities.
Terms of the Dell settlement were not made public, but it affects more than 1400 call center workers in Oregon, Idaho, Texas, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
