Katie, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, received
her undergraduate degree in economics from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She graduated with
honors from the UNC School of Law in 1999 and joined
Martin & Jones in 2000.
Katie began her practice at Martin & Jones assisting
with the law firm's successful litigation of claims
on behalf of people injured by the diet drugs popularly
known as Fen-Phen. She now works on medical
malpractice cases and enjoys working closely with
physicians, who provide valuable guidance, as she seeks
compensation for victims of medical malpractice. Katie
has a particular interest in aiding the families of
children injured by medical negligence.
She lives in Cary with her husband and two sons.
