Global Asbestos Awareness Week

By Mike Riley on April 5, 2016

The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization dedicates the first week in April each year toward “increasing awareness of asbestos and preventing exposure by bringing together experts and victims from around the world to share, learn and take action.”  This year’s Global Asbestos Awareness Week includes personal stories from victims including from family members of actor Steve McQueen and musician Warren Zevon, who both died from mesothelioma.
