A lot of clients ask, "How long will my case take?"
And a typical timeframe is about two to three years from when the case is filed until we get a trial date. Every case is different, every court has a different timeframe, but that's the typical range. However, in the meantime, even before your trial date, usually we're able to obtain settlements from some of the defendants in your case before the trial. When the trial date occurs, then more negotiations heat up, and that's when most settlements happen, or the case goes to trial.
