
Katherine N. Bricio
Katie was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After working as a corporate trainer for three years, Katie went back to Chapel Hill for law school. She graduated with honors from the UNC School of Law in 1999.
Katie joined Martin & Jones in 2000 and worked on several different kinds of injury cases. Since 2002, Katie has worked exclusively with victims of medical malpractice. Katie has represented injured patients in lawsuits against hospitals, health departments, doctors, nurses and therapists. She has pursued a wide array of malpractice cases involving many different areas of medicine, but concentrates her practice on helping families who have a loved one with cerebral palsy as a result of birth trauma or obstetrical malpractice. Katie is honored to serve on the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
Katie lives in Cary with her husband and two sons. When she's not working, Katie enjoys her book clubs, volunteering on several committees at her church, traveling and cheering for her sons from the soccer field sidelines.
